If you are a forest owner or a company representative and you have growing brushwood, logging residues, or other forest material suitable for wood chip production, we can help you efficiently and quickly convert it into high-quality wood chips.
Growing Brushwood and Logging Residues – Timberstock can perform logging operations and collect the material to a storage site on your property. The material is then processed into high-quality wood chips using mobile chippers.
Pre-stacked Brushwood Material – If you have already stacked the brushwood, we can start chipping directly at your storage site.
The maximum diameter of roundwood that our chippers can process is 75 cm. Available screen sizes: 0–30 mm, 0–60 mm, and 0–80 mm.
The minimum quantity for chipping is generally around 180 m³ of produced wood chips (approximately 2 truckloads).
For smaller quantities, wood chip production may not be economically viable for the forest owner (chipping and transportation costs may exceed the revenue from the wood chips).
When cutting, extracting, and storing energy wood, it is important to ensure that the forest material does not contain: soil, stones, brushwood pulled out with roots, metal, concrete or asphalt, plastic, glass, etc.
The presence of such materials in the wood to be chipped significantly reduces the quality and price of the wood chips and can, in the worst case, cause serious damage to the chipper.
After chipping, the final quantity of produced wood chips is determined, which serves as the basis for payment. We then arrange the transportation of the produced wood chips and, as agreed, clean up the storage site after the work is completed.
Timberstock aims to be your reliable long-term partner in wood chip supply. To ensure delivery reliability, we have established intermediate storage facilities that cover all of Estonia. We also provide transportation of wood chips to Estonian port terminals to facilitate international exports.
